Our peaceful meadow at Green Lane Burial Field provides an idyllic place for environmentally friendly burials, situated on a family-run farm bordered by woodland and with magnificent views over the Severn valley.

Our mission is to improve the site’s natural beauty and accessibility, increase its bio-diversity, interest and value to nature, and to provide a first-class facility for those seeking to be buried here.

At Green Lane we welcome people of all faiths and none. Almost any type of funeral ceremony can be held here, whether it be religious, celebrant-led, humanist or a combination. More than half of the burials we have held so far have taken place entirely on-site, with a family member, friend, humanist, civil celebrant or vicar conducting the proceedings. About a quarter have held a church service first and others have held a non-religious ceremony elsewhere, either before or after the burial.
