Aims and Objectives of the Natural Burial Alliance
Our aims and objectives are to:
– Increase public awareness about the benefits of natural burial, encouraging a greater number of people to choose this option
– Encourage greener practices across the funeral profession
– Provide educational resources to help businesses improve the sustainability guidance they offer to customers
– Promote businesses that offer green funeral products and services
– Analyse and report on new and evolving research into green funeral practices
– Work alongside decision-makers in government and elsewhere with the aim of making natural burial a key consideration within wider sustainability and funeral-related policies.
