Hello, I’m Juliette of Juliette by the Sea. As an Independent Funeral Celebrant, I am here to guide you through the planning of your funeral ceremony.

Over a cup of tea, you will have the time and space to talk about the person who has died, their life and how you want to say farewell and remember them, while I listen. Then I will go away and create the ceremony you would like delivered, all the time keeping in touch with you.

I advocate choice for my families to be as environmentally aware as they can be. This includes sourcing locally grown flowers for the coffin, engaging with sustainable coffin choices and  providing information on natural burial sites nearby. I am lucky to have one council run site nearby and two private sites.

I educate families on choice whenever possible and engage in discussion and talks at local homes and hospices. As I live beside the sea I have worked with local fisherman who follow the correct guidance for ashes scattered at sea.
