Hello, I’m Karen Nutton – an independent celebrant based in Redditch, conducting ceremonies, in the West Midlands, Warwickshire and Worcestershire.

My commitment to sustainable living and dying has been a 30-year journey. During my teaching career, I embedded the UN Sustainable Goals into our courses and was part of an active team promoting sustainability. Now as a celebrant, I continue to educate and encourage sustainable options with clients whenever possible.

I work closely with likeminded suppliers and have connections to three natural burial sites within a 20-mile radius of my business. I use Instagram to raise awareness of services and ideas to create ceremonies that are kinder to the planet.

From sustainable burials and ways to ensure that the end of life is as natural as birth, I can offer advice and make suggestions that can resonate with your environmental or belief principles. Any religious content of any faith can be incorporated.
