Set within an organic mixed farm on the edge of the Hampshire Downs, Ibworth Woodlands is a stunning one-acre natural burial ground overlooking rolling countryside.

About Ibworth Woodlands

The farm has been run by our family for four generations and the fifth generation are already keen trainees! We intend to continue farming the land at Ibworth Woodlands sustainably for many more generations to come.

As well as trees, wild bulbs and wild flowers are planted each year and the area is maturing into an ideal location for those looking for a peaceful resting place. The site is situated between two existing woodlands, creating the perfect link and allowing nature to flow from one habitat to the other.

We accept both ashes and full burials. All coffins, caskets and casks/urns should be completely natural and biodegradable. Ibworth Woodlands are pleased to welcome people of all faiths and beliefs, as well as secular and non-religious ceremonies. There are no fixed formats as we want you to organise things exactly as you wish.
